Co-created with KITH, the GEL-KAYANO™ 12.1 pulls from the 2006 original but doesn’t just stop at nostalgia. It rebuilds it with a more modern setup, blending that early performance runner look with tech that actually holds up today.
The upper takes a different direction: it's structured, almost armor-like, with subtle metallic cues running through it. Sounds heavy, but the open mesh keeps it breathable, so it still feels easy on foot. Underneath, it borrows the tooling from the GEL-NIMBUS 17, originally made for long-distance comfort, so you’re getting that marathon-level cushioning in something you’ll wear daily.
